ACP offers free webinars on immunization on Sept. 12, Sept. 23

ACP will present two free webinars on immunization as part of National Immunization Awareness Month: 鈥,鈥 with Robert H. Hopkins Jr., MD, MACP, on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 11 a.m. ET, and 鈥,鈥 with Jason M. Goldman, MD, FACP, Governor for ACP's Florida Chapter, on Monday, Sept. 23, at 12 p.m. ET. CME credit and MOC points are available for all three webinars and the webinars are free to all. ACP's Adult Immunization Resource Hub is updated regularly and includes the latest vaccine recommendations, patient education resources, quality improvement strategies, practice assessments, and more.


MIPS eligible clinicians or groups, including APM participants, are able to request CMS to review their performance feedback and final score calculation through a process called targeted review. The deadline to submit your request is September 30, 2019 at 8:00 PM (EDT). We encourage you to review your 2018 MIPS performance feedback (MIPS final score and payment adjustment) on the . The payment adjustment you receive in 2020 will be based on your final score and targeted review decisions are final. ACP Health Policy Internship Program now accepting applications

The 2020 Health Policy Internship application cycle is now open until October 31, 2019. The internship provides a multifaceted opportunity to learn about the legislative process, health policy, and advocacy in organized medicine. Interns will provide assistance with researching and analyzing current issues in health and medical education policy, assisting with on-going advocacy initiatives, and the development of advocacy materials. Interns will have the opportunity to attend Congressional hearings, coalition meetings, and accompany government affairs staff on lobby visits to members of congress and their staff and to events.
