ACP Concerned by Supreme Court Decision on EPA
In a statement, ACP President, Ryan D. Mire, MD, FACP, expressed concern about the recently issued Supreme Court decision that restricts the ability of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to set limits for carbon emissions from power plants. The statement noted that climate change is already harming the health of millions of people in America and throughout the world and concluded that ACP will continue to press federal and state officials to ensure that they are acting in the interest of human health.
