New Tool Helps Internists Prepare for the Quality Payment Program

San Diego, March 30, 2017 -- The 麻豆直播app (ACP) today launched a new tool to help members prepare for the Quality Payment Program (QPP) under the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act (MACRA).  The is a web-based tool that will assess practice readiness.

鈥淯sing ACP鈥檚 Quality Payment Advisor is one of the ways that we think practices should be getting ready for MACRA now,鈥 said Shari Erickson, ACP's vice president, Governmental Affairs and Medical Practice.  鈥淭he advisor can help you select the best options for your practice and determine what pace you鈥檒l take for QPP under MACRA in 2017.鈥

The tool, free to ACP members, uses a systematic approach based on an individual practice鈥檚 characteristics, quality measurement experience and quality improvement activities.  The tool will assist practices in determining the best path to take鈥擬erit-Based Incentive Payment System or advanced Alternative Payment Model.

鈥淭he most basic part of starting your practice on the path to QPP is determining your payment pathway,鈥 continued Ms. Erickson. 鈥淭he QPA can tell you where you need to go and will help you determine the steps you need to take in order to ensure your practice gets there successfully.鈥
