PHILADELPHIA May 23, 2023 – The 鶹ֱapp (ACP) has named Lisa Johnson, as the organization’s Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations effective April 10, 2023.
In collaboration with the Chief Communications Officer, Johnson will help lead the Marketing, Public Relations, Web Communications and Creative Services teams in supporting ACP’s business objectives, brand and reputational goals, and strategic priorities through marketing and PR strategies, corporate and member communications, media relations, social media, websites, and multi-media production and digital experiences.
“Lisa brings great experience in public relations and marketing to ACP, and we look forward to her guidance as we continue the mission of the College to support our internal medicine physicians so that they may do the work of caring for patients,” said Darilyn Moyer, M.D., MACP, ACP’s Executive Vice President and chief executive officer. “Her experience will be key in communicating our messaging, strategies and projects as we move forward.”
She joins ACP from St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, Pa., where she was responsible for marketing, communications and public relations including service line market development, growth initiatives, and brand strategy. Prior roles and activities have included serving as Vice President, Marketing & Public Relations for Blue Mountain Health System, scripting, producing, and hosting a monthly TV program, and serving on the Executive Committee of the Public Relations Society of America Health Academy.
Johnson has a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. She also is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Society for Healthcare Strategy and Market Development; Former Executive Committee Member, Health Academy – Public Relations Society of America (PRSA); Former Curriculum Advisory Board Member, LPN Program – Lincoln Technical Institute, Allentown, Pa.; and a System Public Relations Officer – Hospital & Health System Association of Pennsylvania and American Hospital Association.
