鶹ֱapp Names New Chief Strategy Officer

PHILADELPHIA, July 15, 2021 – The 鶹ֱapp (ACP) has named Adrienne White-Faines, MPA, FACHE, as the organization’s first Chief Strategy Officer effective July 12, 2021.

At ACP, White-Faines will focus on developing and implementing organization-wide strategic initiatives to advance the mission impact of the College.  Her role will involve articulation of organizational priorities, and ensuring operational alignment to support success, through assessment and development of programmatic relevancy, innovation, collaboration, and effectiveness across the organization.

“Adrienne brings a wealth of experience, talent, and strategic insight to ACP,” said Darilyn Moyer, MD, FACP, ACP’s Executive Vice President and chief executive officer. “Her background and reputation for successfully implementing innovative strategies in physician associations and medical education, diversity initiatives in clinical and community-based environments, and inspiring collaborations and program designs for new generations of physicians, align wonderfully to help position ACP for continued and future success. The evolving needs of our internal medicine physician members require that we effectively and proactively align our operations in this ever-changing healthcare landscape, and we are excited to add this new role.”

Over the past year, White-Faines provided strategic leadership to the Financial Health Network as the national Market Lead for Healthcare, to design their strategic business line to address the intersection between healthcare delivery and its impact on the financial health of individuals.  Just prior, White-Faines served for 6 years as the chief executive officer for the American Osteopathic Association, the professional association that represents U.S.-trained osteopathic physicians (or DOs) and medical students, across the globe. Her work addressing disease disparities in diverse populations was noteworthy as chief health officer at the American Cancer Society, Illinois Division, with oversight of research, education, advocacy, and patient services. She was also chief operating officer of a health care and physician practice management consulting firm, after serving over 10 years in capital strategic planning and community services development at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, in Chicago. Before relocating to Chicago, she began her career working in strategic planning at both LA County Hospitals and the Health and Hospital Corporation in New York City.

White-Faines holds a Bachelor’s degree from Amherst College, a Master’s of Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and two honorary doctorates. She also continues to serve on numerous regional and national boards and advisories, committed to advancing equity for diverse populations.
